Stecol International Private Limited (SIPL) specializes in the production and distribution of TMT bars and Structural Steel products, including beams, channels, columns, and angles. Our flagship product, Essar TMT, is recognized for its quality and reliability.

With operations in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and beyond, SIPL is focused on expanding its reach across India.

We supply TMT rebars in IS 1786 grades FE 500, FE 500 D, FE 550, Fe 550D, and CRS, ranging from 8 mm to 40 mm in size. Each bar is embossed with “ESSAR” at 3-meter intervals, and every batch comes with the necessary Test Certificates. Our quality is verified by SGS, a trusted third-party inspection agency.

In addition to TMT bars, SIPL offers a wide range of structural steel products, serving key sectors in construction and infrastructure. As an ISO-certified company, we are committed to maintaining high standards in safety, durability, and performance.

Meet Our Management

MR. SHIVRAMKRISHNAN HARIHARAN

CEO

Mr. Shivramkrishnan Hariharan, popularly known as Shekhar in steel industry circles, is  the CEO of Stecol International Private Limited since Dec 2018. Mr. Hariharan comes with over 39 years of work experience. He joined the Essar Group in 1993 and has handled key critical positions within the group. He left Essar Steel as Director Commercial before being appointed as the CEO of SIPL. Mr. Hariharan joined the Board of Directors of SIPL in July 2019. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics and an LLB degree.

He has held various positions such as Member of Working Committee of Indian Steel Association (ISA) (premier body of India Steel producers – represents 60% of steel capacities in India), Vice Chairman of Sponge Iron Manufacturers Association of India, Co-Chairmanship of FICCI Steel Committee 2017, and Member of CII National Committee for Steel 2018-19.

MR. ANANTHA KRISHNAN

CFO

Mr. Krishnan handles the portfolio of CFO for SIPL. Mr. Anantha Krishnan joined the International Project & Compliance of Essar Services in April, 2018. Prior to joining the Essar Group, Anantha was the Head- Finance and Commercial of the Global trade business of a reputed group in UAE for 12 years. His previous experience also includes 5 years with India Securities, Non-Banking Finance Company. He has a broad range of experience including Project finance, Trade Finance, treasury, overall commercial operations and controls, management reporting, financial accounting and taxation. He also was part of Essar Steel Corporate finance team during 2000 to 2007.

Mr. Anantha Krishnan joined the Board of Directors of Stecol International Private Limited in July 2019.

DR. SHOEB S. AHMED

Independent Director

Dr. Shoeb S. Ahmed joined the Board of Directors of SIPL as an Independent Director from August 2019.

Dr. Ahmed comes with more than 44 years of experience in multi-faceted production and marketing organizations, in the areas of domestic and international marketing and top management decision-making and was involved in imparting management learning skills. He was the Marketing Head of Long Products Division of SAIL (Steel Authority of India Limited) for 4 years before joining the SAIL Board. He was in the board of SAIL from May 2007 – Oct 2010.

He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from XLRI Jamshedpur, PhD in Management from Banaras Hindu University and has done specialized courses from Fordham University, New York and North Eastern University, Boston. USA.

Dr. Ahmed was responsible for various critical positions like: Governing Body- Sunder Deep Group of Institutions, Corporate Social Responsibility and Leadership- Delhi, Member of the  Organizing Committee of the Commonwealth Games, New Delhi India -2010 and was on the Communications Committee for 4 years at the International  Iron &  Steel Institute, IISI( now renamed as World Steel Alliance – ISA),Brussels.

MS. NEERU ABROL

Independent Director

Ms. Neeru Abrol joined the Board of Directors of Stecol International Private Limited as an Independent Director from August 2019.

She is a Chartered Accountant by profession with more than three decades of experience in the Manufacturing and Processing Industry. She served as the Chairperson and Managing Director of National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) from 2013 to 2015, the second largest urea producer in the Country. Prior to NFL, she worked with Steel Authority of India for 25+ years and held various leadership positions.

She has been the recipient of multiple awards over her illustrious career such as the ‘Business Achiever’ award in 2011 & 2014 presented by ICAI , ‘Outstanding Woman Manager’ in Public Sector Enterprises maiden award by SCOPE for 2010-11, Greatest Corporate leaders of India Award in 2014 , to name a few.
